Luc Bouchard, a ninth generation descendent of the Bouchard family, takes us through a history of one of the oldest and most distinguished Burgundy houses. Luc will be pouring amazing wines from the region several of them back to 61 that are the benchmark for all chardonnays and pinot noir produced in the world

Setting the standard Château de Beaucastel is simply one of the finest estates not only in Châteauneuf, but in all of France. Utilizing all thirteen varietals the complex soils at Beaucastel are revealed by Marc as he describes the evolution of the vineyard and its wines while he walks us through a great vertical tasting. 

 

 

Seminar IV

Domaine William Fevre

The region north of the Cote d'Or, is famous for its steely dry white wines made from Chardonnay. The William Fevre wines are generally full-bodied and rich, yet characteristically crisp and lively we will get a horizontal look at the wines then enjoy a vertical of Les Clos one of their Grand Cru’s.
